While it may feel like a routine part of daily life now, there was a time when the Internet was just an experiment. In this lecture, we will unravel the mystery of the Internet, and explain the tools and technologies that instantaneously connect millions of computers across the globe. Along the way, we will learn about the human history of the Internet from its origins, from the first email and the first web pages, to today’s indispensable tool for communication and connectivity.
